Article 1 – Scope of the general conditions of sale

These general conditions automatically govern all sales of stays made on the https://www.camping-lepontillou.com website. They are an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its customers.
Each customer acknowledges having read these general conditions prior to any reservation of a stay, for himself and any person participating in the stay.
In accordance with the law in force, these general conditions are made available to all customers for information purposes and upon written request addressed to the head office of the establishment, prior to the conclusion of any contract for the sale of stays.

Article 2 – Booking conditions

2.1 Price and payment
The price of the stays is indicated in euros, VAT included. The customer’s attention is drawn to the fact that the tourist tax is not included in the price.
For bare camping pitch reservations: All rentals are personal and cannot be transferred. The hiring becomes effective only with our agreement and after reception of a deposit of 30% to block the stay. The balance of the rental of a bare pitch will be paid on the day of arrival. Your possible absences during your stay will not be considered.

For any unreported delay, the rental/site becomes available 1 day after the arrival date mentioned on the reservation contract. After this period, and in the absence of a written message, the reservation will be void and the deposit will be retained by the campsite management.
2.2 Modification of reservation
The customer may request the modification of his stay (campsite, dates and/or type of accommodation) upon written request to the campsite (mail or email) subject to availability and possibilities.
Any request to increase the duration of your stay will be made according to availability and according to the rates in force.
Any request to reduce the duration of your stay is considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the terms and conditions of cancellation and interruption of stay.
The carryover (credit) may be accepted for the following season with application of the n+1 rates.
2.3 Unused services
Any stay interrupted or shortened by you cannot give rise to reimbursement. No reduction will be made in the event of late arrival or early departure.
2.4 Cancellation
2.4.1 By the institution
In the event of cancellation by Pontillou, except in cases of force majeure, the stay will be refunded. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
2.4.2 By the customer
Le Pontillou will not refund any deposit.
Cancellation costs may be covered by the cancellation guarantees offered by CAMPEZ COUVERT. No refund will be made without taking out the guarantee or cancellation insurance.
We advise you to take out cancellation insurance. This contract offers you a cancellation guarantee which allows you to obtain reimbursement of the sums paid in the event of cancellation of your stay or early departure under certain conditions (illness, accident, etc.).
Insurance rates: 5% of the amount of the stay
2.5 Withdrawal
We advise you to take out cancellation insurance.

Article 3 – Course of the stay

3.1 Arrivals and Departures
Rental and camping: arrivals are from 2 p.m., departures are before 10 a.m.
3.2 Deposit
A deposit of €250 per accommodation will be requested on the day of your arrival. It will be refunded to you on the day of your departure after an inventory.
The invoicing of any damage will be added to the price of the stay as well as the cleaning (50 €) if you do not leave the accommodation in a state of perfect cleanliness. If you cannot be present during the inventory, the deposit may be returned to you by post.
3.3 Departure
Any return of the key or release of the site after 10 a.m. entails the invoicing of an additional night. Any extension of stay must be made at least the day before the scheduled departure date.
3.4 Animals
Our animal friends are accepted on the campsite. Except for 1st and 2nd category dogs. They must be always kept on a lead inside the campsite. They are prohibited around the swimming pool and inside collective buildings. The vaccination record for
dogs and cats must be up to date and masters must walk their animals outside the campsite for their needs.
3.5 Rules of procedure
As required by law, you must adhere to our rules of procedure, deposited at the prefecture, posted on our notice board near the bowling alley and a copy of which will be given to you on written request.

Article 4 – Image rights

You authorize Le Pontillou, as well as any person that Le Pontillou would like to replace, to photograph, record or film you during your stay at Le Pontillou and to use said images, sounds, videos, and recordings on any medium (in
particular on the website, Facebook page, Instagram, on all Pontillou presentation and promotion media).
This authorization is valid both for you and for the people staying with you.
Its sole purpose is to ensure the promotion and animation of the establishment and may in no way harm your reputation. This authorization is granted free of charge for all countries and for a period of 5 years.
It is up to you to express your disagreement with the management.

Article 5 – Liability

The Campsite declines all responsibility for damage suffered by the equipment of the camper-caravanner which would be of its own doing; insurance for your equipment in terms of civil liability is mandatory (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC…).

Article 6 – Applicable law

These general conditions are subject to French law and any dispute relating to their application falls within the jurisdiction of the High Court or the Commercial Court of Périgueux.
